A broom-finish residential concrete driveway poured by 3D Concrete

Our story

Family-run concrete, since 1993.

Three decades in the Creston Valley, two generations on the tools, and one thing we still genuinely love — finishing concrete the right way.

Who we are

Concrete is the family trade.

3D Concrete started as a father-and-sons workforce in 1993, in the mountain valley of Creston, BC. As the years went on, the demand for concrete grew — and so did our passion for placing and finishing it. In 2006 the boys bought the tools and equipment from dad and built it into the business it is today.

We've upgraded our fleet over the years so we can finish anything from a small decorative sidewalk to a large warehouse floor that has to come out flat and smooth. Grinding and polishing interior floors fits right alongside our placing and finishing — and creates lifelong, beautiful floors.

“Concrete work is not only our way to make a living — it's something we're genuinely passionate about.”

How we got here

Thirty years, one valley.

  1. 1993

    A father-and-sons crew

It started in the Creston Valley with a family doing most things under the “construction” banner — framing, roofing, landscaping and, of course, concrete.

  2. 2006

    The boys take over

The second generation bought the tools and equipment from dad and focused the business squarely on what they loved most: placing and finishing concrete.

  3. 2020

    Slipform curbing

We added a Miller 1000 slipform curber for commercial curbs and sidewalks. It grew fast and now keeps us nearly as busy as the flatwork.

  4. Today

    Across the Kootenays

Flatwork, finishing, grinding & polishing and curbing — for homes, farms, businesses and industry right across the region.

How we work

Persistent and innovative.

That's the “3D” in our name — and the standard we hold on every pour.

Flat is the whole job

A floor that has to come out dead flat and smooth gets the same care as a decorative driveway. Finishing is where the work is won or lost.

The right gear, owned

Power trowels, diamond grinders, vacuum systems and our own slipform curber — so we can take on small residential jobs and large commercial pours.

Built to last

Densifiers, proper sealing and honest prep mean the floors we leave behind keep their look for years, not months.

Proudly serving the Kootenays: Creston · Cranbrook · Kimberley · Jaffray · Rossland · Castlegar · Nelson — and the communities in between.

Work with us

Let's pour something that lasts.

Whether it's your first slab or your fiftieth, we'd be glad to talk it through.
